It’s a small week with only two books, a new one from Kirkman & Top Cow and another Image book from Nathan Edmondson. Oddly enough both of them deal with assassins, just in wildly different ways and of course they both have that great twist ending.

So it looks like we may actually end up with three really good superhero movies this year. Avengers was great, Batman might not end up being the best of the trilogy but it’ll still be a very good movie, and finally this Spider-Man reboot looks like it has a lot of potential.

The New 52 has to be deemed a success from conventional standards. Sales have increased and a handful of characters that were doomed to obscurity have risen from the grave.
