André the Giant Coming to a Comic Shop Near You!

Fun little bit of news coming from the Comics Beat and cartooonist Box Brown, announcing an André the Giant book for First Second!

This is exciting news for anyone who grew up during the 80s wrestling boom, or anyone who’s a fan of The Princess Bride and/or Shepard Fairey. The book is slated for a 2014 release and I’m honestly not sure what to expect. Aside from André’s famous exploits as a wrestler he was also infamous for out-drinking entire bars and, if we can believe Wikipedia, was apparently babysat by playwright Samuel Beckett.
