I was smart when I was in diapers. Now I’m more in the unparalleled genius range.

There’s some sad news today as it’s been announced that Jean “Moebius” Giraud has passed away at the age of 73. One of the most recognized and influential of French artists, Giraud was also a long-time collaborator with Alejandro Jodorowsky.
Moebius was incredibly imaginative and contributed some of the most unique visions to sci-fi comics, including Azrach and the Incal.
Bleeding Cool has posted some retrospectives on his art and his film work, while Robot 6 has put together a short piece on his influence on the industry. I’d highly recommend checking them out.
